Former four-time Pro Bowl offensive lineman Mike Pouncey signed a one-day contract with Miami on Thursday to retire as a Dolphin. Pouncey, 33, last played in 2019, starting five games for the Los Angeles Chargers.
Aboushi represents the latest in a string of Bolts offensive line investments.
The twin brothers, who are 31 years old, made the announcement through Maurkice's former teammate and ex-Steelers guard Ramon Foster.
The Chargers confirmed that four-time Pro Bowl center Mike Pouncey has been placed on injured reserve and will undergo season-ending hip surgery before September ends.
Pouncey is on a one-year, $9 million contract this season. He missed most of the 2019 campaign after having neck surgery following Week 5.
Last October, there were concerns that Pouncey's neck injury could be career-threatening.
